Not enough

I know, I know... Long time no see. You thought that I was gone, didn't you? Well, I was there. But somewhere else. You know, they will need more to kill me. It's not that simple. I know that they don't, apparently. Wasn't it easier to just ask? We all know that one will *not* happen. But the funny part of that all is that I had to die. Not in a physical way, though.

There are more ways to *die* on this world. Some of them require you to merely change, some require you to be someone radically different. Sometimes it's a process, sometimes it's a blink of an eye. Someday you just rise from your bed like every other time - except you are no longer the same as yesterday. Sometimes you make a will and stick to it. You make a resolve. No judge, no sentence, no punishment. Just you and your life after that day. It's very likely that you won't be able to mark a specific time you made a choice or place in your mind that this idea of sort appeared.

They will hunt you. Who, you ask? Well... don't be surprised. Everyone can be your doom - but among them you can and will find those very few that will support you. That's the "simple" answer. The answer you will find more... comforting. But don't you think... Hold there for a second with me. If for you nearly everyone is the villain, could that possibly mean that *you* are a villain in someone else's story? Are you pure enough to be let go without question? Are there no suspicious shades on you?Well, there certainly are. And what now, you ask? We have some serious clash here.

How come the hero can be a victim and a villain at the same time? It's not something they teach you in school, isn't it? That is what you learn by yourself over your own adventure. But that's not all. Not an end of the tale. A somewhat old Polish song goes like, "There is so much evil in you, as much as others see in you." You can see yourself as a hero as much as you please. But you do not decide about other people's stories. Only they can place you as a hero in their own story. Or, maybe, see you as one. And you know what? You can't force them to do so.You know the song with the verse "Love is a battlefield"? You can't force anyone to love you. Just like that. It's just easier to hate someone than to love him. Isn't that the reason we have crumbled as a society?

There is one way to counter it. Just like other people choose to fit you somewhere in their stories, you chose how to place them. And, most importantly, you chose what you stand for. Believe me or not. You don't have to prove yourself. Just grab yourself from the floor and go. There will be no test, no evaluation, and no jury. That's not a contest. Just not in a sense of your senses. The old saying tells us that if you want the world to change, begin from your own world.

Sometimes they will hate you. Sometimes they will hunt you. No one says it will be easy for you. But it's your story, isn't it? Now go. Come back if you want to hear more. It's your move, just like every other time we met. I will be here. Just as I promised you.
